VideoRoom is built on the principle that everyone deserves a safe, respectful environment to connect with others. These Community Guidelines outline expected behavior to maintain a positive experience for all users. By using VideoRoom, you agree to follow these rules.

We expect all members of the VideoRoom community to uphold these values:
Respect Everyone
Treat all users with dignity, regardless of background, identity, or beliefs. Discriminatory language or harassment is not tolerated.
Be Authentic
Represent yourself honestly. Do not impersonate others or use misleading profiles. Authenticity builds trust.
What's Allowed
- Friendly conversations with people from around the world
- Sharing your interests, hobbies, and experiences
- Learning about different cultures and perspectives
- Making genuine connections and friendships
- Using the platform for language practice
- Enjoying lighthearted, fun interactions
What's Not Allowed
Violations of these rules will result in immediate account termination:
Harassment & Bullying
- Personal insults, name-calling, or demeaning remarks
- Targeting individuals based on identity, appearance, or beliefs
- Repeated unwanted contact after being asked to stop
- Intimidation or threatening behavior
Inappropriate Content
- Sexually explicit material or suggestive behavior
- Nudity or sexually suggestive attire
- Graphic violence or disturbing content
- Adult or 18+ content of any nature
Illegal Activities
- Promoting or facilitating illegal acts
- Sharing copyrighted material without permission
- Discussing or planning illegal activities
Spam & Commercial Activity
- Advertising products, services, or other platforms
- Repeatedly sending the same message to multiple users
- Requesting donations, gifts, or financial support
- Sharing referral links or affiliate codes
Privacy Violations
- Recording calls without consent (VideoRoom prohibits recording, but external tools are also forbidden)
- Sharing others' personal information (doxxing)
- Attempting to obtain private details like address, workplace, or social media
Impersonation
- Pretending to be someone else (celebrity, official, another user)
- Creating multiple accounts to evade bans
Enforcement
Violations result in escalating consequences:
- First offense: Temporary suspension (7–30 days)
- Second offense: Permanent account ban
- Severe violations: Immediate permanent ban (harassment, illegal content, etc.)
Our moderation team reviews reports manually. Appeals can be submitted via contact form within 14 days.
Your Responsibility
By using VideoRoom, you agree to:
- Follow these Community Guidelines in all interactions
- Report violations using the in-call reporting feature
- Respect others' boundaries and preferences
- Use the platform for its intended social purpose
